The NU Authority has officially published the Honours 2nd Year Form Fill-Up Notice for the 2023–2024 academic session (regular), along with irregular, improvement, and promoted students of previous sessions. According to the notice, all activities, including online application, in-course marks submission, and honours form fill up, will start from July 05, 2026.

  • Application Start Date: 05 July 2026 (Sunday)
  • Application Deadline: 28 July 2026 (Tuesday)

Honours 2nd Year Form Fill Up Notice 2026

The NU online form fill up for Honours 2nd year final exam will begin on 5th July 2026. This form fill up process will be continued till 28th July 2026. Students can apply through the NU EMS portal (ems.nu.ac.bd). Read the notice carefully and complete your NU form fill up within the scheduled time. No further extension will be provided.

NU Form Fill Up Fee Details 

The National University has fixed the following fees for the Honours 2nd Year examination form fill-up:

  • Theoretical (Full Course): 300/-
  • Theoretical (Half Course): 250/-
  • Practical (Each Course): 250/-
  • In-course Fee:
    • NU Fund – 150/-
    • College Fund – 450/-
  • Centre Fee (Theoretical):
    • College Part – 200/-
    • Centre Part – 400/-
  • Centre Fee (Practical): Per Course – 250/-
  • Special Inclusion Fee (for irregular/improvement): 600/-
  • C Promoted Students Extra Fee: 1500/-
  • 2016–2017 Session Students (with F Grade): 6000/- (Final Opportunity)

Eligibility Criteria for Honours 2nd Year Exam 2026

1) Regular Students: 

Students registered in the 2022–2023 session who passed the Honours 1st Year exam in 2023 and got promoted to 2nd Year.

2) Irregular Students:

Students from 2019–2020, 2020–2021 & 2021–2022 sessions who were not promoted or absent in previous exams. Students who got “C” or “D” grade in 2023 can improve in maximum 2 courses.

3) Grade Improvement Students:

Students promoted to 3rd year in 2023 but got C or D grade in 2nd year. They can apply for grade improvement in a maximum 2 subjects.

4) F Grade Students:

Students from sessions 2017–2018, 2018–2019, 2019–2020, 2020–2021 & 2021–2022 who have F grades can apply for those subjects. Must improve to minimum D grade within registration period.

5) 2016–2017 Session Students:

Last and final chance. Must pay 6000/- fixed fee to participate. No registration renewal is required.

NU Honours 2nd Year Form Fill Up Procedures 2026

  • Students must visit the official NU websites: ems.nu.ac.bd or www.nubd.info/honours
  • Log in with your registration number, fill in the form correctly, and download a print copy.
  • Submit the printed form with the necessary fees to your respective college department.
  • College authorities will verify and confirm the applications online.
  • Fees must be paid via Sonali Seba at Sonali Bank branches within the fixed deadline.

How to Pay the Fees?

  • Download the Pay Slip from NU website.
  • Deposit the fees via Sonali Seba at any Sonali Bank branch within the deadline (24–25 September 2026).
  • After payment, collect the receipt and preserve it for future reference.
  • No other payment method will be accepted.

Conditions & Instructions

  • Students must fill up the form with the correct subject codes. Any mistake will be the student’s own responsibility.
  • A recent passport-size photo (attested by the college principal) must be attached to the printed form.
  • Colleges will preserve all exam-related documents for 4 months after the publication of the results.
  • The practical exam schedule will be announced later.
  • Results will be published under the grading system.
  • To be promoted from 2nd year to 3rd year, a student must pass at least 50% of courses (theory & practical combined).
