About Cadet Colleges in Bangladesh
Cadet Colleges are special government-approved residential institutions designed to prepare young students as future leaders for the Armed Forces and civil society. Along with academic excellence, they focus on co-curricular and extra-curricular activities, leadership training, and elementary military training under the supervision of experienced military officers and skilled faculty members.
Currently, there are 12 Cadet Colleges in Bangladesh:
- For Boys (09): Faujdarhat, Jhenaidah, Mirzapur, Rajshahi, Rangpur, Sylhet, Comilla, Pabna, and Barisal Cadet College.
- For Girls (03): Mymensingh, Feni, and Joypurhat Girls’ Cadet College.

Eligibility Requirements
- Nationality: The applicant must be a Bangladeshi citizen.
- Educational Qualification: Candidates must have passed Class 6 or equivalent final examination from a recognized institution.
- Age Limit: The maximum age limit is 13 years and 6 months as of 1 January 2026.
- Physical Fitness:
- Minimum height: 4 feet 8 inches (for both boys and girls).
- Must be physically and mentally sound.
- Eye requirement: 6/6 vision without glasses (up to -2D allowed with glasses).
- Candidates with chronic diseases such as asthma, heart disease, epilepsy, or color blindness will be disqualified.
Cadet College Online Application Process

Step 1 – Sign Up
- Visit the official portal and click on “Apply Now.”
- Provide your name, mobile number, password, email, and date of birth.
- If your age is within the limit, the system will approve your registration.
Step 2 – Log In
- Use your User ID (mobile number) and Password to log in to your account.
Step 3 – Payment
- Pay the application fee of 2000 BDT (non-refundable) through bKash, Nagad, Rocket, Trust Bank (tap), or SSLCommerz (all cards/wallets).
- After successful payment, the form will be unlocked for completion.
Step 4 – Fill in Application Form
- The application form consists of six (06) steps, including uploading necessary documents and a passport-size photo (color, same as printed copy).
- Ensure all attachments meet the specified file format and size.
Step 5 – Final Submission
- Carefully review all information in the “Application Preview.”
- Once you Final Submit, no correction will be allowed.
- Print and keep a copy of the submitted form for future reference.
Step 6 – Admit Card
- Admit cards will be available for download from 11 December 2025 onward using your User ID and Password.

Cadet College Admission Syllabus 2026
The Cadet College Written Exam Syllabus 2026 is now available on the official website under the ‘Notice’ section.
Subjects include:
- English Grammar, Composition & Comprehension
- Bangla Language & Literature
- Mathematics (Class 6 level, analytical and word problems)

Candidates must send attested copies of the following documents to the designated Cadet College address (as mentioned on the admit card) by 18 December 2025 via post or courier:
- Attested copy of Primary Education Completion Certificate or equivalent.
- Attested copy of Birth Registration Certificate.
- Proof of parents’ or guardian’s monthly income certificate.
- Attested copies of parents’/guardian’s National ID, TIN certificate, and passport (if applicable).
- 1 recent passport-size color photograph (same as uploaded photo).
- For English medium students – certification of completion of Grade 5 or equivalent.
