The MBBS Medical Admission Result 2024 will be reported on 11 February 2024 by the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS). All Government and Private Medical Colleges MBBS 1st Year Admission test was organized on 09 February 2024. The result can be known through the result dghs gov bd website at noon around 2.00 pm.
The Medical result is out today. First positioned ranked a female student, total score of 92.5. Though 1 lakh 4 thousand students participated in the admission test, only 48,975 students passed. The final admission process for 1st year MBBS will start from 18 February 2024.
Due to the admission test, the medical admission coaching will be closed for one month from 09 January 2024. The pass marks remain 40 to be admitted to the private medical colleges. For the second-timer candidates, 5 marks will be deducted from their total score. On the other hand, 10 marks will be deducted from the total score obtained by the students who are admitted to any government medical or dental colleges.

Medical Admission Result 2024
The MBBS Admission result 2024 will be announced within 3-5 days of the admission test date. Candidates can download the merit list from the www dgme gov bd website. After the declaration of the admission result, candidates can download the PDF file of the selected candidates who are eligible to be admitted in the medical colleges. After a few hours, candidates will be able to check their results from the www dghs gov bd website by logging with their MBBS roll number.
A total of 11 thousand 728 students will be admitted in government and private medical colleges in the 1st Year of the MBBS Course. There are 5380 seats in government medical colleges. About 1030 seats have been increased in Public/Govt medical colleges. Besides, Total 6348 seats in private medical colleges, and army medical colleges have 375 seats.
MBBS Merit List
The GPA obtained in the SSC and HSC examinations will be determined as a total of 200 marks and will be evaluated as follows:
- 15 times the obtained GPA of the SSC examination = 75 marks (Maximum)
- 25 times GPA obtained in HSC Equivalent Examination = 125 Marks (Maximum)
The merit list will be prepared by deducting 5 marks from the total marks of candidates who have passed the HSC examination of the previous year and 10 marks from the marks obtained in the case of students admitted to Government Medical Colleges or Dental Colleges of the previous year.

Medical Admit Card 2024
The DGME Admit Card for the MBBS Admission Test 2024 has been published. The Medical Admit Card 2024 will be distributed on 5 February 2024. The MBBS Admit Card 2024 download will be continued till 7 February from the dgme.teletalk.com.bd website. To download the admit card, applicants need to log in to the website with the required User ID and Pass.
The Govt and Private Medical College exam for MBBS First year admission will be held on 09 February 2024. Candidates must carry their medical admit card and HSC Registration card in the examination hall. Read the instructions very carefully mentioned in the admit card. Exam dare, time and seat plan will be mentioned in the MBBS admit card. There is no separate seat plan published.
Application Requirements
Bangladeshi students can apply for the MBBS Admission Test 2023-2024 from 11th January 2024 and foreign students can apply from 04 January 2024. The deadline for the online application procedure is 23 January 2024 and the last date for the application fee submission is 24 January 2024. The MBBS Admission Application fee is 1000 TK.
- The applicant has to be a citizen of Bangladesh.
- Students who wish to participate in the Medical admission test 2023-24 should pass the HSC /Equivalent exam in 2023 or 2022 and SSC /Equivalent exam in 2021 or 2020.
- The minimum Total GPA should be 9.00 in SSC and HSC
- Tribal and Non-Tribe students from hilly areas should have a total GPA of 8.00 in the SSC and HSC /Equivalent exams.
- All applicants must have a minimum grade point of 4.00 in Biology in the HSC examination.
Marks Distribution
Medical College Admission written examination 2023-24 will be held in 100 marks. The total duration of the MBBS exam is 1 hour (From 10 am to 11 am), in which students have to answer 100 MCQ questions. Each question will carry one mark for the correct answer and a 1.25 mark will be deducted for each wrong answer. Candidates scoring less than 40 marks in the written examination will be considered as failed. The result will be published along with the merit list of the eligible candidates.
The subject-wise mark format of the written exam is Biology 30, Chemistry 25, Physics 20, English 15, General Knowledge (History and Liberation War of Bangladesh) 10.
